Have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these magnificent animals. Once arriving at Bali Elephant camp you will have the opportunity to observe the elephants daily life and take some wonderful photos before embarking on a 1 hour elephant ride.

Pass through tropical plantations of mango, jackfruit, durian, coffee, bamboo and coconuts. Look out for birds and monkeys as you pass through the jungle and see how other animals such as pigs, cows and buffalos play a part in the daily lives of farmers and their families as you enter the small local village of Buanga. Pass by the village temple and witness daily life far away from the tourist areas.

A highlight on the trip is to be invited into the home of a local farmer where you will enjoy a drink of fresh coconut. This is such a unique and enjoyable trek as you look down at glimpses of the river and trek through unspoilt rice paddies. When you return to the camp help your elephant cool off with a refreshing bath and then enjoy a delicious western or Balinese 3 course menu at the ‘Trunk’n’Mahout’ valley-view café and relax in the idyllic surroundings.
